Happy New Year. Typical technical hitches at the start of the show, where Jules and myself struggled to figure out which switch actually made her microphone go, and which hence led to what must have been a very odd sounding on-air conversation as I rabbited on to what would have been dead-air. Followed up the dead-air action with some more silence, when I started a track without making the channel it was on active (radio inactive! hah!). After that, smooth running, and even got a nice surprise when we did a shout out to our 'regular listeners' and actually got a call from a couple of them to say happy new year. ahhh.
