Stories Told to Me by GirlsMy NZ Music show co-host Julie Hill has her new play - Stories Told to Me by Girls - opening down at Bats tonight.

If you're in Wellington, I highly recommend you head along. I saw Julie's previous play - Turbulent Flux - a couple of years back and it was ace. This looks to be along the same line, with a solo female actor (in this case Jo Smith) recounting various women's true-life stories to a visual and audio multimedia backdrop.

In Stories Told to Me by Girls, Jo Smith (formerly of legendary Wellington theatre company Trouble) shines a ginormous blowtorch on everything you didn’t realise you didn’t need to know about the art of female storytelling.

Season runs Tuesday 10th - Saturday 21st January (with no shows on Sunday or Monday), and starts at 9pm each night. Book at Bats.
